Gilbert (Bert) Bradshaw (1926-2016) was a very active caver originally with the BSA, and subsequently as a founder member of the Northern Pennine Club, and he was involved in the original explorations of such as Notts Pot, Disappointment Pot, and Ease Gill Caverns. Indeed, he was the first to enter Easter Grotto, and Bradshaw's Passage is named after him. In this recording, Bert recalls memories of Eli Simpson and the B.S.A. and on the long-term positive influence both had on British caving.
